The third annual Building for Sustainability Symposium will take place November 6–7, 2025, at the Malcolm Hotel in Canmore.

Co-hosted by the Biosphere Institute of the Bow Valley and the Bow Valley Builders and Developers Association, the event brings together 170+ professionals from real estate, building, policy, and academia to explore strategies for sustainable buildings, infrastructure, and urban planning.

The program features field trips, panels, workshops, and keynotes showcasing real-world solutions. In partnership with SAIT and ENBIX, pre-Symposium capacity-building workshops will equip professionals with practical tools to advance sustainability in their work.
