Beaver First Nation (BFN), located in northern Alberta, is preparing to add 18,000 acres to its reserve following a land entitlement settlement. To responsibly manage this new land, BFN is seeking funding to develop a comprehensive land use plan. The project will assess current resources, engage the community on priorities, and create a strategic plan for sustainable land development and management.

Beaver First Nation
The Beaver First Nation is located 67 km east of High Level, AB. The Nation is comprised of 2 Reserves – the Boyer River Indian Reserve and the Childs Lake Indian Reserve. There are approximately 1200 members of the First Nation and 400 members/residents who live on the reserved lands set aside.
